Important Notice - Parent-Teacher Meeting on 27 May 2010

The notice for the Parent-Teacher Meeting will be given out on Wed, 12 May, which has to be returned by Fri, 14 May. The main details are as follows:

DAY/DATE: Thursday, 27 May 2010
TIME: 8 am to 3 pm
RATIONALE: Collect report book; brief discussion on child's progress

This is a non-school day for all pupils, meaning their last day this term will be on Wed, 26 May since Friday on the same week is a public holiday (Vesak Day). However, they may accompany parent(s) to school but remain outside the classroom or in the canteen area.

It is regrettable that the report books cannot be given out before the stipulated date. Parents, I sincerely apologize also that I have to arrange the individual meetings at 10-minute intervals in order to be able to meet everyone. We would have to arrange a separate meeting if you have more concerns/issues for discussion.

Tue, 4th May

Welcome back to school.

We had our poem recitation today and everyone did well to memorize the poems. Nobody needed to be prompted for the words or lines.

You will have your Mother Tongue composition and listening comprehension tomorrow (Wed, 5th May). Revise your work.

Homework

You should have completed the following in class. Otherwise, do so at home:
1) English practice paper - remember to write complete sentences when answering the comprehension questions.
2) Science Revision book (Diversity) - pages 53 to 66.
